PixelNovae is a little blog dedicated to the recording of thought provoking, inspirational and sometimes controversial ideas I’ve come across over time. I started this endeavor back in 2005 during an difficult time in my life and since then, little by little, I have continued recording many memorable quotes that resonate with yours truly. They come from varied places like books, articles, television and even family. This site thus became an ever-growing digital manuscript archiving ideas from various minds; ideas that helped me reflect during many phases of my life.
Starting 2017, I decided to invest in making the recording process a lot simpler and easier to do. For years I did everything manually, and I enjoyed doing so until I finally decided to turn to WordPress. It only took me over 10+ years to accept it. 🙂 Now, after the initial set up, no longer will I need to worry about the rest of the site’s system and will concentrate more on the recording and writing processes.
I have modified (to detail death!) a WP theme that I feel is worthy of displaying these little treasures as I had envisioned them. I am continuing to polish the results, (images, layout, css, etc.) so the work will continue. But beyond that, pixelnovae is here.
That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. Simply put, this blog is about ideas and thoughts that stimulate our mindset. Thoughts that stop you in your tracks leaving you asking yourself “What is behind this?”. My hope is that your answers are as unique as the quotes themselves.
