The haunting memories of lost love. May I? Lights? Our eyes met across the crowded hat store. I, a customer, and she a coquettish haberdasher. Oh, I pursued and she withdrew, then she pursued and I withdrew, and so we danced. I burned for her, much like the burning during urination that I would experience soon afterwards.

Cosmo Kramer, played by Michael Richards, eloquently describing gonorrhea 😂 in the Seinfield episode (aptly named), “The Burning” (S9 E16)

I mean… where to begin?… except just LOL on the ridiculousness of this entire episode. As with many of the great episodes in this show, The Burning is great writing coming together to tell an almost impossible story in real life. I say almost because I am sure aspects of it exist, but way the writers congeal all the ideas and characters… is simply great. One of the best comedies of all time.
